MARINA
Apart from the beautiful location of the Club and the easy access to the ocean, FIMC offers excellent facilities to its marina members and guests alike, including marina berths equipped with electricity, water and a slipway.
In addition, it offers unlimited craning facilities, a 24-hour convenient refueling and rescue service, and full workshop facilities.
Special watersport attractions include sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, yacht cruises, PADI diving, paddle skis and, of course, deep-sea fishing.

Rules:-
* The maximum speed permitted inside the harbour is 3 knots (to ensure the safety of all members and their vessels).
* The weather forecast is available at the Marina Security office.
* All members must ensure that they obey information issued by the Race Department with regards to the opening and closing of the harbour during watersports events.
* All vessels must display the Coast Guard number and have valid registration. We kindly request that you supply us at our office with a copy of this registration card.
* All vessels must be insured annually. We kindly request that you provide our office with a copy of insurance for our records.
* Should you wish to permit someone to use your vessel, you must inform our office of your intention to do so, as our staff will not permit anyone other than the owner to use the vessel without prior warning. It is the responsibility of the owner of the vessel to see that the rules of the Club are clearly understood by the person permitted to use his vessel.
* FIMC bears no responsibility for loss of tackle or any equipment aboard the vessel on the marina and workshop area.
* You are reminded to check your bilge pump is in good working order and to report any problems to the marina manager.
* Before going to sea, please inform the marina staff of the number of passengers aboard and your expected time of return. Should you be delayed, please telephone the Club on 3181837 or 3181838 or radio the security guard on VHF channel 16. The VHF channel is manned 24 hours a day.
* Fuel station hours are 0700hrs to 1900hrs daily.
* Please do not take more ice than is necessary per trip.
* Should you damage another vessel on the marina, please report this to the marina manager immediately.
* Should you require repairs to be undertaken by our staff, please inform us by fax or call our workshop
manager or workshop in charge.
* We kindly request that you inform our office if you are to have repairs undertaken to your vessel by an outside company. We require the name of the company, technician, contact numbers and expected time of arrival. Please note that this is for the interest of all marina members.
* All repair work done by outside contractors to be undertaken between 08:30hrs up to 18:30hrs only.
* We should ask that all trailers in our yard be marked with the DP number and berth number of your vessel. The workshop staff will assist you in this regard. Trailer maintenance must be contracted to maintenance contractors and will not be undertaken by our company.
* For marina members who do not own a trailer, we can supply trailers, but there will be a charge for it.
* No painting or changing of oil is permitted on the pontoons. No petrol, diesel or septic tank waste is to be pumped into the harbour.
* No jet-skiing or launching of jet skis is permitted in the harbour.
* No fishing or fishing spears allowed in the harbour.
* No littering
* No smoking at fuel installation
* No swimming allowed around the jetties
* No pets allowed
* Trolleys are provided to move articles from the bridgehead to your mooring. Please return them to the designated area. Marina staff will assist you for loading and offloading only and will not deliver the trolley to your boat or vehicle.
* We kindly request that all marina members ensure that their vehicles display a FIMC parking sticker. These are available from our office on request.
* Member's guests must park their vehicles outside the Club parking area on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.
* Any problems relating to the marina i.e. taps not working, electricity problems etc. should be reported immediately to the marina staff.
* FIMC reserves the right to transfer any boat berthed in the marina under certain circumstances without prior notice.
* Should a member sell his boat, we will do our best to accommodate the new owner, but FIMC reserves the right to re-let the berth. A refund is only applicable if applied before mid June and only 50% of the fee will be refunded.
* Should a member wish to live onboard, please secure management's approval abiding by the strict marina rules and regulations and a 20% will be added from berthing charges. Only three berths are allocated for this purpose.

Dry Berth
About 30 parking water and electricity Available Under shed.
Located adjacent to the marina, the dry berths area can accommodate boats up to 33-feet. Launching and retrieving is via ramp located at the breakwater utilizing a tractor-pull with trailers to be provided by club members. Boats and trailers are thoroughly rinsed with fresh water prior to being towed to the dry berth area.

Rules:-
* The DP number of your vessel must be displayed on the vessel and painted onto the trailer of the vessel.
* Please ensure that the following safety equipment is aboard your vessel:
o Lifejackets for every passenger
o First aid kit
o Lifebuoy
o Waterproof torch and spare bulb and batteries
o VHF radio
o Distress flares
o Anchor
o Fire extinguisher
o Compass
o Navigational light (port, starboard, white)
* No jet-skiing or launching of jet-ski's allowed in the harbour.
* Please note that the maximum speed permitted in the harbour is 3 knots.
* Please return your trailer to the dry berth area after launching your vessel.
* You are requested to inform the security guard at the entrance to the slipway of the number of passengers you have aboard and your expected time of return from sea. Should you be delayed, please telephone our offices on 04 3995777 or radio the main security gate on VHF channel 16.
* Should you require repairs to be undertaken by our staff, please inform our offices by fax or call our workshop supervisor.
* Fuel station hours are 0700 hrs to 1900 hrs daily.
* All those who have rented dry berth storage require identification cards. Please supply our office with two photographs . Please note that the card issued by our office does not entitle you to the Club Mina facilities.
* Should you wish to permit another person to use your vessel, you must inform our offices of your intention to do so. Non-owners may not use the vessel without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the owner of the vessel to inform our offices of details concerning this person.
